Safety & Verification

Need to Report an Incident?

If you have experienced assault, harassment, theft, or any other safety incident related to a collaboration, you can file a detailed report through our emergency reporting system. The system collects detailed incident information including location, suspect details, and photo evidence. The completed report is emailed to both you and our safety team for review.

Report an Incident

If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

How Verification Works

CollabPls requires all users to sign in with an X (formerly Twitter) account. Creators with X’s blue checkmark have completed government-issued photo ID verification, which confirms their identity and that they are at least 18 years old. Unverified creators are clearly flagged on the platform so you can exercise caution.

Identity Verification

All users must be 18 or older. CollabPls offers optional identity verification through Stripe Identity ($4.99). This verifies your government-issued ID and matches it to a selfie, confirming both your identity and age. Verified creators display an “Identity Verified” badge on their profile, providing an additional layer of trust beyond X verification.

Unverified creators are flagged so other users can make informed decisions about who they collaborate with.

Your ID and selfie are processed entirely by Stripe — CollabPls never sees or stores these images.

What Data We Store

We store the following information:

  • Display name, X handle, profile picture URL, bio, and location
  • Verification status
  • Content categories, niche tags, experience level, and gender
  • STD testing date (self-reported date only — no medical records)
  • HGF (High Grossing Fans) badge status (admin-assigned)
  • Email address
  • Contact methods (phone, Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, Discord, email, X DM — revealed only on mutual interest)
  • Direct messages (auto-deleted after 30 days)
  • Review ratings and comments

We do NOT store:

  • Passwords
  • X authentication tokens (beyond the session)
  • Credit card or bank account numbers (Stripe handles all payment processing)
  • Creator content files (videos, photos from their platforms)

STD Testing Status

CollabPls allows creators to optionally display the date of their most recent STD test on their profile. This badge appears color-coded: green if tested within 30 days, amber if 30–90 days, and gray if over 90 days. This helps you quickly gauge how recently a potential collaborator was tested.

Important: This date is entirely self-reported. CollabPls does not verify test results and does not store any medical records. The badge is a convenience tool — not a guarantee.

Always request actual STD test paperwork directly from your collaborator before any in-person meeting. Do not rely solely on the self-reported badge. Your health and safety are your responsibility.

How Communication Works

When you find a creator you’d like to collaborate with, you express interest through CollabPls. The other creator receives a notification. If they’re also interested, mutual interest is confirmed and CollabPls’s built-in 1:1 Direct Messages are unlocked so you can communicate privately. DMs are automatically deleted after 30 days. For additional safety, you can also use X’s DMs where both parties have access to X’s reporting tools.

Content Moderation

Profile photos and listing images are automatically scanned for explicit content before upload. This scanning happens entirely in your browser — no images are sent to external servers.

Direct messages are subject to the same conduct rules as the rest of the platform and may be reviewed by administrators in response to reports.

Our moderation team reviews reported content and may remove it without notice.

In-App Reporting

If you encounter inappropriate behavior, you can take action directly within CollabPls:

  • Report profiles directly from any creator’s profile page
  • Report messages by clicking the report button on any message
  • Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, with AI assistance for prioritization
  • Profiles with 3+ reports from unique users are automatically flagged for review

We take reports seriously — creators who violate our Terms may face restrictions or bans.

Reporting & Blocking

In addition to in-app reporting, you can also:

  • Report the user on X using X’s reporting tools
  • Contact us on X at @collabpls_ or email hello@collabpls.com to request a profile be reviewed
  • Block users through X

We reserve the right to remove any profile that violates our Terms of Service.

Account Restrictions

Instead of outright bans, CollabPls may apply targeted restrictions to accounts. Restrictions can affect specific features such as chat, marketplace, interests, boosts, listings, or reviews.

This allows us to address specific issues while keeping your account active.

You will be notified of any restrictions applied to your account.

Safety Tips for In-Person Collaborations

  • Always verify the creator’s X profile before meeting
  • Meet in a public place first or bring a trusted friend
  • Share your location with someone you trust
  • Discuss boundaries and content expectations beforehand
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels off, don’t proceed
  • Request recent STD test paperwork from your collaborator — do not rely solely on the self-reported badge
  • Keep all pre-collab communication on CollabPls DMs or X where it’s documented
