Report content

Use this page to report a profile, collab call, image, or other content on CollabPls. Public pages are safe for work. Copyright notices are covered below.

What happens next

We review the report. We may remove the content, restrict the account, or leave it up. We may email you if we need more information. We do not send an automatic reply.

We usually review reports within a few business days. That is a target, not a promise. Reports that someone may be under 18 are reviewed first. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement.

This is not a substitute for a police report. For emergency and support lines, see safety resources. For a safety incident from a collab, use the incident report.

Send a report

You do not need an account. Describe the problem in words. Do not include explicit images.

So we can ask a follow-up question. We do not send an automatic reply.

Copyright notice

These statements are required for a copyright notice. See Copyright and DMCA for the full process.

Typing your full name is your signature.

Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content on CollabPls infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a notice to hello@collabpls.com or use the form and choose Copyright / DMCA. This page explains the process. It is not legal advice.

What a notice must include

A notice under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) should include all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed. A URL or a clear description is enough.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and the URL where it appears on CollabPls, so we can find it.
  • Your contact information, including an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full legal name in the form counts as an electronic signature.

We review complete notices and may remove or disable access to the material. We may email you if something is missing. We usually review within a few business days. That is a target, not a promise.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to hello@collabpls.com. A counter-notice must include:

  • Identification of the material that was removed, and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  • Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where CollabPls may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

The address and phone number in a counter-notice are yours, not ours. After we receive a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the person who sent the original notice. We restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless that person files a lawsuit seeking a court order to keep it down.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated. We may also remove content and restrict an account after a valid notice, even before a second notice arrives.
